WHAT IS AN ACCOUNTANT?

Our valued client is seeking a dedicated Accountant to be a part of their team.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for handling, preparing, computing, managing, researching, and analyzing all accounting data. Your role is crucial in providing essential quantitative information on our business's performance, financial position, solvency, liquidity, and cash flows.

You will oversee the accounting service (A-Z) for selected entities under the guidance of the Chief Accountant.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?

  • Supervise general accounting operations and daily financial activities of all group entities within the organization.
  • Manage various accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledger, inventory accounting, and expense recognition.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions, financial control, and financial reporting.
  • Handle local, state, and federal government reporting requirements, tax filings (including VAT), and other regulatory obligations.
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and conduct timely reviews.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
  • Assist in year-end statutory reporting and audits while meeting year-end Group close deadlines.
  • Provide reporting and analysis of financial results, prepare management reports, and develop budget and financial forecasts.
  • Engage in daily treasury activities, including cash management, funding, and reporting preparation.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Education: Partly qualified accountant from a professional body
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience (multinational environment experience is a plus)
  • Knowledge and Skills: Thorough understanding of accounting and finance principles and procedures, good knowledge of VAT and taxes, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, planning and project management abilities, process-oriented, excellent Excel and MS Office skills, familiar with accounting software
