Job Objective
Reporting to the Process Security Risk Team Lead, your role involves supporting the evaluation of an organization's readiness and providing suggestions to enhance recovery post natural disasters or emergencies that may cause information loss or operational disturbances.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, analyze key risks, foster communication between risk and control owners, identify areas for enhancement, and devise strategies to improve the business continuity system.
Main Duties
- Collect, analyze, and enhance an organization's business continuity plan.
- Create and test strategies to ensure business operations can continue during disruptions such as natural disasters or cyberattacks.
- Assist in developing technology recovery plans and work closely with IT, infrastructure, network, applications, and security teams.
- Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies and controls within processes.
- Support the formulation of testing strategies and objectives for business continuity plans.
- Assist in recovery efforts during real disasters or incidents.
- Evaluate the quality of business continuity plans and conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs).
Required Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information/Cyber Security, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- Relevant professional experience focusing on solving business challenges, process enhancements, conducting workshops & interviews, data analysis, and understanding the organization's functional processes and resources.
- Prior work experience preferably in a professional setting, showcasing planning, problem-solving, process improvement skills, risk assessment, compliance projects, and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications / Personal Traits
- Proficiency in MS Office, project management, and familiarity with at least one GRC tool.
- Knowledge of auditing, monitoring, controlling, and process evaluation frameworks.
