Job Description:

Position Purpose


Overall delivery responsibility for the FY'22-24 Security Programme, and for future Security programmes, ensuring the successful delivery of the security outcomes and targets as defined in the FY'22-24 Security Strategy.

Ensure the delivery of maturity and risk based security targets in line with internal and external assessments of current or future threats, and ensure that the Security Programme and Strategy remains cognizant and aligned to emerging risks or changes in standards / frameworks.

Major / Key Accountabilities

Programme & Project Management

  • Plan and lead execution of the FY'2224 security strategy and programme. Responsible for the definition and delivery of formal security milestones and the overall security delivery plan.
  • Provide direction, leadership, and structure to project managers across the group ensuring relevant resources are allocated across different projects in order to deliver the overall program plan. Manage the capacity of security programme resources to ensure projects can be delivered on time or mitigate where there are risks to the delivery of the plan where there are resource constraints.
  • Working with partners, vendors, employees, and agencies to ensure success of cybersecurity projects.
  • Preparation for and delivery of the monthly Steering Committee meetings. Responsible for the sharing of preread materials, and for sharing actions and decisions afterwards, which are also to be stored in a centralised location. Responsible for the management of closure of Steerco actions.
  • Liaising with other teams to identify and exploit opportunities with other programs across the organization.
  • Responsible for the management of the execution of the security change management strategy, including the definition and rollout of training courses, the execution of the regular employee communications cadence and setup and management of the cybersecurity change agent network.
  • Managing multifunctional team coordination, opportunity screening, benefit/cost analysis, vendor selection, schedule and budget oversight, management of consultants/contractors, issue resolution, and reporting.
  • Coordinating with internal and external legal, contracting, procurement, finance, group marketing and communications teams to ensure risk control, successful project rollout and streamline communications.
  • Manage program budget and support the management of the full security budget.
  • Working with the Global Communication Team and Security Change Manager to support the execution of professional business communications across the programme, both overall programme awareness activities and the projectspecific campaigns.
  • Ensure that the programme is on track to meet all security risk and maturity targets, including the delivery of security risk flightpath actions.
  • Support in the process to keep security policies up to date in line with new security programme initiatives, and as part of the annual policy update cadence.
  • Manage the process to update the security strategy on an annual basis, and to define the new 3year Security Strategy on completion of the FY'2224 strategy.
Portfolio Management

  • Manage the process to engage crossfunctionally and within IT to ensure there are controls in place to identify and assess cybersecurity risks to organizational assets and develop and lead mitigation plans within the program scope. Input into he biannual security risk reporting to IT RCC and Corporate RCC. Manage the risk flightpath actions being delivered by the programme to ensure that these are delivered on time, or that appropriate exceptions are granted if required.
  • Support in the proactive identification of security vulnerabilities or emerging security risks, and coordinate the activity to prioritize, scope and remediate vulnerabilities through the security programme if required.
