Flight Physics Engineer

Sener is currently looking for Flight Physics Engineer to join our team at our Madrid work center.

We are looking for a senior engineer to help us in the flight physics activities of air vehicles and systems in the frame of national and international Defense European projects.

We are a pioneering engineering company in the design of satellite technology and equipment for space exploration. In defence, we design and produce equipment and systems, including unmanned systems. What you will do:

Main Goals:
Lead Flight Physics activities associated to the design of air vehicles (manned and unmanned)

Main Tasks:
Definition of Air Vehicle lay-out configuration

Aerodynamics:
Aerodynamic design of loft surfaces, control surfaces, intakes/exhausts, fairings, etc.
Propulsion System Integration.
CFD Simulation.
Wind Tunnel Testings definition and correlation.

Flight Dynamics:
Flight Mechanics simulation models.
Aerodynamic Loads.
Stability and Control Analyses.
Handling Qualities.

Flight Performances:
Mission Profiles.
Operational Performances.

Provide support to SENER design team for:
Flutter Analyses.
Weight and Balance.
Air Vehicle systems integration (systems location, defueling sequences, etc.).

What we expect from you:

Required:
Relevant Engineering Degree (Aeroespace, Space).Knowledge in Unmanned aerial systems (UAS/UAV).Previous experience in Defense Programs.
Previous experience in the position between 5 and 10 years.

Language Skills:
Proficiency in spoken and written EnglishCapacity to understand new concepts and apply them to engineering problems

Required Personal Skills:
High motivation and proactive participation.
Excellent conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work within a team.

Desired:
Relevant Engineering Post-Graduate Degree (MSc in Aeroespace, Space)Siemens Star CCM
