We are currently looking for a Permanent investment Accountant to join us at our facility in Asturias, Spain.

This is a hybrid working role, and will require you to be in the office for 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Permanent investment and operating lease accounting To perform reconciliations and review reconciliations. To execute and engage on all internal control activities & SOX controls defined within the function. To drive and facilitate interactions with internal /external customers and third parties (corporate/ local & regional finance/ plant accountants). Preparation and deliver financial reports. To participate on internal & external financial audits. To provide functional training and support to peers. To perform system set up and maintenance of specific systems as required in the functional area. To prepare and deliver financial reports to our internal & external customers. To perform detailed review, analysis and interpretation of defined processes in the assigned area of work, ensuring accuracy of data and adequate processing and reporting. To perform closing activities (roll-forward/ depreciation & amortization/ SAP-CFIN / HFM). Consultancies: cost vs. capital questions and any other (accounting) queries. Active involvement in projects such as system implementation, S4 Hana, acquisitions, merges...Key requirements:
University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics. Fluency in English is a must, other European languages are considered a plus. Demonstrate experience in finance/accounting areas, minimum of 2-3 years finance/accounting experience. High Computer literate: High PC skills (Outlook / Office), previous experience with SAP will be considered a plus. US GAAP experience/ knowledge. Strong understanding of Financial Statements.
