We are seeking a Data Management Consultant to join our global Data & Business Intelligence (DBI) department within Group Technology & Operations (GTO) focusing on data products and projects.


Your role

As a Data Management Consultant your main responsibilities will be:

  • Deliver new business engagements that require data management capabilities and solutions.
  • Specify generic data products and features, their value proposition and the approach to onboard business units.
  • Establish knowledge base around data and information requirements, business terminology, data flows and data quality issues.
  • Maintain relevant business glossaries and data classifications for data and business domains.
  • Analyse master data processes and data models including creation, lifecycle changes and consumption.
  • Analyse and classify data assets including profiles, pattern, quality, usage and risk.
  • Evolve rules for data recognition and discovery algorithms
  • Evolve global taxonomies for global data classification and data access.
  • Contribute to overall data management capability development, spanning various topics like data modelling, metadata management, data standardization and master & reference data management.

Your Skills and Experience

As a Data Management Consultant your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Bachelor level education, e.g. Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or other Engineering Discipline
  • 5+ years of experience with data management projects or similar roles.
  • Experience in broader data management topics (critical data elements, metadata management, master & reference data management and analytics use cases.
  • Advanced proficiency in tools for data quality, metadata management, master data management and data análisis, like Informatica, Tibco, Collibra, IBM.
  • Understanding of data governance concepts.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Good communication skills.
  • High proficiency in English.
  • Business and data analysis skills.
