Purchasing Agent

Reporting to the Group Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Agent will be in charge of the execution of the South Europe Hub's material group strategies in accordance to TGW Global Purchasing strategy.

• Act as the Purchasing interface between local unit and international Lead Buyers for assigned material groups/projects.
• Select, assess & develop continuously new and existing suppliers with respect to quality, adherence to delivery Purchasing strategy dates and costs, supporting the TGW Group
• Analyse data to develop the appropriate sourcing and negotiate strategies that will maximize the savings opportunities.
• Verify suppliers' compliance to Key Performance Indicators, such as time of delivery, quality, security of supply and others.
• Minimize procurement risks during the sourcing process.
• Conduct administrative purchasing tasks.

• Degree in Engineering or Industrial Organization as a preference.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (French desirable)
• Ability to work in Office 365 (mainly good level in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Power BI)
• Proven ability to manage costs and have an understanding of budgetary requirements
• Previous experience in international industrial purchasing environment will be taken into account
• Experience with Navision (ERP) or SAP will be taken into account.
