An exciting opportunity has arisen in our ITA Division, the ITA (International Type Approval) division, mainly focused in the type approval of radio devices at a worldwide level, the Regulatory Compliance department is in charge of maintaining and increasing the technical and legal knowledge required to provide type approval services.


Duties and essential Job Responsibilities

Main tasks:

  • Do research on radio certification requirements at a worldwide level: legal and technical aspects
  • Do research on the technical requirements for new technologies
  • Participate in forums and technological events
  • Follow up the evolution of technology
  • Handle the Research projects
  • Generate eNews
  • Register and maintain the information obtained in our knowledge database

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge about cellular technologies.
  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial, or similar.
  • At least 2 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to work with concurrent projects and short deadlines, attention to detail and quality oriented are essential.
  • Willing to learn about new technologies, solutions and services.
  • Selfmotivated and desire to take the initiative to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
  • Available to travel internationally.
  • Good level of written and spoken English.

Additional preferred qualifications:

  • Other language skills will be appreciated: Arab, Chinese, Japanese, French, Russian, German, Korean.
  • Project management
  • Reading and analysis of technical regulations.
  • Contact with clients, suppliers and/or authorities
  • Knowledge of radio equipment certification processes.
  • Knowledge of other certification processes will be valued (EMC / electrical safety / Energy Efficiency, vehicle certification)
  • Knowledge in one or several of the following technologies:
  • Cellular technologies: 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G
  • UWB
  • Intelligent Transport Systems (DSRC & C-V2X)
  • Automotive radar
  • Active medical implants & peripherals
  • Bluetooth & Bluetooth Low Energy
  • Broadcasting receivers (FM, DAB, DRM)
  • GNSS receivers (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, etc.)
  • Immobilizers
  • LPWAN (LoRA, Sigfox, NB-IoT, LTE-M, etc.)
  • NFC
  • RFID
  • Telecommand and Telemetry
  • Wireless charger
  • WLAN
  • ZigBee
  • Cybersecurity
  • Automotive sector.
