Our vision for Ethics and Compliance at BD


The Ethics & Compliance organization helps BD to improve its anti-corruption process and controls, as "We do what is right".

The Ethics & Compliance organization works with worldwide BD leaders to support, among other matters, the roll out and ongoing implementation of external funding processes.

BD may provide external funding in the form of charitable contributions, educational grants, and commercial sponsorships to third parties to further the commitment of advancing healthcare and patient well‐being.

BD never provides funding to influence the purchase, lease, recommendation, or prescription of BD products or solutions.

About the role:

The Legal Intern will support the Ethics & Compliance Coordinator Iberia and the Sr. Counsel Ethics & Compliance and Privacy EMEA on the grants processes with the review, management and processing of the external funding requests


The Legal Intern will also provide support to improve the compliance program in order to meet the requirements imposed by specific laws in Spain ("programa de prevención de riesgos penales"), and any other support to the Ethics & Compliance team as the needs may be.


About you:

  • University degree
  • Understanding of efficient business processes
  • Knowledge on the Spanish compliance requirements ("programa de prevención de riesgos penales") is preferable.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (oral and written)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
