The Position


We are looking for a
Senior Consolidation Reporting Analyst for our
Group Finance team to work together on different initiatives related to accounting and consolidation by focusing on process improvement and implementation.

You will play a key part in the implementation of the accounting policies and consolidation reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Support financial statements consolidation in line with SP GAAP, UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Conduct technical discussions with the external auditors
  • Support trend and gap analysis and develop and implement process improvements based on the analysis performed
  • Evaluate the impact of business changes and new policies on local GAAP vs. IFRS financial statements
  • Draft and update workrelated documentation and accounting guidelines
  • Provide support to external and internal audit teams, as required, in connection with UK GAAP, IFRS consolidation yearend audit, controls testing and any other adhoc audit queries
  • Take initiative and actively participate in optimization projects on the various processes and for the various regions in the Group

You have:

  • At least 35 years of previous experience in a Big 4 auditing TMT companies, scaleups, and publicly listed entities
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance or Accounting professional equivalent
  • Technical understanding/knowledge and experience in preparing consolidation of financial statements and having worked in an HQ/Group function of large companies
  • Strong Excel skills and finance system skills
  • Experience with Spanish GAAP and IFRS
  • Full fluency in English is a must

Nice if you also have:

  • At least 34 years of experience in an accounting function
  • An adaptable and eager skillset to deliver on multiple competing deadlines
  • Experience leading teams and participating in crossfunctional projects
  • Experienced using ERP systems (Netsuite preferable, but not essential)
  • Experience in systems implementation
  • Preparation of external reporting and internal reporting to senior management
  • High level of French
  • Being involved in an IPO
