We are looking for a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Professional, to be part of the team, working together to achieve our global targets, working locally, thinking globally and with a high autonomy in their daily tasks.

Will be focused in our main internal customers (Service & Construction Departments), being for them a close partner, advisor, trainer and inspector.

Responsibilities:

• Field activities in offices, warehouses and Service sites (60%).
• Creation of local HSE documents (risk assessments, HSE plans, emergency response plans, customer specific procedures, etc).
• Follow up of contractors/subcontractors including mobilization/demobilization, postwork assessment and audits when needed.
• Perform HSE training (initial & refresh training: LOTO, Electrical Safety, etc.).
• Responsible for providing expertise and support to Operations in incident and hazardous observation investigation and root cause analysis.
• Perform site visits and inspections.
• Actively, support the development and realization of a "Zero Incident Culture".
• Responsible to provide support and collaboration on HSE matters related to the country
• Participation in tender processes (preparation of HSE documentation) and contract review from Environmental, Health & Safety perspective.
• Assist with various tasks contributing to staff organization.
• Perform and follow up internal audits at local and regional Vestas level.
• Develop and support implementation of processes and procedures, including hearing processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of work experience within HSE. Experience in an international work environment would be an added value.
• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in HSE (Técnico en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales, 3 technical specialisation).
• Native Spanish speaker and high proficiency level of English.
• Master Degree in Environment will be a clear added value.
• IRCA Lead auditor in ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 would be an added value
• Indepth knowledge of HSE standards and best practices, quality ISO standards, concepts, processes and procedures.
• Expertise in hazard jobsite assessment/analysis/solution, risk assessments, incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Development/implementation of processes and procedures, including comprehensive HSE Plans.
• Conducting inspections and audits.

• Ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks, to work autonomously, adapt to new/changing situations.
• Solid interpersonal, computer, presentation and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility to travel to sites across the area and also across the country is required.
• Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Solution oriented, problem solver.
• Cross cultural skills (will work across EMEA).
• Fluent English spoken and written.

The position is based in Granada, Spain

The HSE Professional will be reporting to HSE Manager of the cluster Iberia.
