Key Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the security manager, the key duties and essential job functions encompass but are not restricted to the following:
Ensure the safety of all guests and colleagues within their line of vision, including the parking areaRegularly patrol their assigned zoneRemain vigilant for fire risks, hazardous work behaviors, and unsafe situations.
Capable of executing Emergency Response Plans effectivelyMaintain positive interactions with guestsArrive for duty at least 15 minutes before the shift startsAttend all daily briefings and debriefingsFamiliarize themselves with the positions and names of fellow Security Officers on dutyTake necessary follow-up measures to guarantee compliance with schedules and work qualityStay alert for any unusual incidents and respond appropriatelyPrimarily responsible for protecting the hotel's assets, staff, and visitorsDocument all occurrences or incidents that take place during their shift.
Complete all necessary incident/accident/end of shift reports diligently after each shiftAddress any required paperwork promptlyWhen commencing or concluding their shift, Security Officers must inform the Security Director or Assistant DirectorWhen assigned to a specific task, Security Officers must adhere to the job specificationsSecurity Officers are prohibited from discussing or disclosing department information to colleagues, outsiders, or media; violators will face Progressive Corrective Action, potentially leading to termination.
Security Officers must exercise sound judgment and make prudent decisions, aiming to de-escalate situations promptly. They should handle scenarios with politeness, diplomacy, and professionalism while remaining steadfast in upholding the Fairmont's policies and procedures.Qualifications
