Swapcard is currently looking for a motivated Senior People Operations Manager to play a key role in shaping our remote-first culture. Reporting to the Head of People, this position offers a unique opportunity to enhance Swapcard's operations and provide an outstanding employee experience. Responsibilities include:

Benefits Administration
  • Oversee health insurance management and optimize benefits programs for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with benefits regulations and address employee inquiries.
Leave and Absence Management
  • Develop and enhance leave policies, including sick leave, parental leave, and PTO.
  • Maintain a comprehensive leave handbook for employees.
Contract and Compliance Management
  • Ensure employment contracts comply with relevant regulations.
  • Manage employee records and draft employment contracts.
Employee Records and Data Management
  • Maintain accurate employee records and generate reports for decision-making.
  • Utilize relevant systems for data management.
Administrative Support
  • Handle admin requests related to relocation and HR processes.
  • Assist with visa sponsorship for employees as required.
Payroll and Legal Collaboration
  • Coordinate with the payroll department for employee administrative matters.
  • Ensure HR compliance through collaboration with the legal team.

Qualifications:

  • Approximately 5 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, preferably in France, Spain, or Portugal.
  • Experience in benefits administration and leave management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced startup environment.
