We are looking for a
Regulatory Associate to join our Product Research and Innovation team and support Clarity AI's Regulatory intelligence.

Your work will be shaping and guiding our regulatory offer and the investment decisions of our clients and ensure that Clarity AI engages on all regulatory issues that impact its own business model.


The role provides an opportunity to help Clarity AI continue to offer the best regulatory solutions for sustainability in the marketplace.

This position will be instrumental in identifying and defining the most relevant and value-added regulatory solutions for our clients.


This person will monitor and identify opportunities for Clarity AI globally, with special attention to the regulatory landscape in the European Union, UK, US, and key countries in the Middle East, and Asia.

The Associate will report into the Regulatory Lead and work with other relevant stakeholders (e.g., product management; business development) to support the development of regulatory solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities


The Regulatory Associate will identify opportunities and implications for Clarity AI and for our clients when it comes to complying with sustainability related regulation.

The role will include, but not be limited to, the following activities:

  • Research and horizon scanning of major upcoming regulatory changes and their implications for Clarity AI and its stakeholders. Keeping track of most relevant regulatory developments.
  • Monthly written and oral communication to the company on the key regulatory changes that could impact Clarity AI and its clients.
  • Work flexibly with project teams to provide regulatory input into product and methodology development.
  • Contribute to Clarity AI's strategic agenda on Regulatory Products and engage with regulatory stakeholders.
  • Identify and offer best and timely regulatorylinked content internally and to our clients.
  • Monitor global regulatory context and identify and propose continuous improvements and refinements to Clarity AI products to meet the regulatory needs of our clients.
  • Support Clarity AI participation in regulatory working groups and forums.
  • Prepare reports to document insights and findings, and presentations to communicate results to stakeholders and clients.

Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills (minimum C1 levelproficient). Other languages are desirable.
  • Ability to quickly extract key insights from regulatory documents and repackage them into actionable insights.
  • Strong quantitative and critical thinking skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to present technical content to general audiences and develop trusted relationships across stakeholders
  • Selfstarter who will thrive in a startup setting by taking ownership and initiative.
  • A decisive and action oriented individual who can get things done, make rapid decisions and has a high level of energy.
  • Highly motivated, independent and deeply passionate about sustainability and impact.
  • Intellectual curiosity and sense of humor.
Beneficial

  • Prior relevant work experience is desired but not necessary. In particular, experience in regulatory affairs, compliance or sustainability roles within the financial services sector would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Sustainable Finance Regulation landscape (including relevant sustainability frameworks such as SFDR, EU Taxonomy, TCFD, ISSB).
