While being a member of the Security Team, you'll be building a world class governance, risk and compliance program. This requires extensive knowledge in security, technology, compliance, & operations. You will be developing and driving the technical risk management programs supporting various departments. You will have great presentation skills and will be able to discuss risk in both technical and non-technical terms.You will help support the frameworks around governance, risk and compliance that sets the foundation for the most complex and business critical areas at Eventbrite.
THE TEAM
The Security Team provides governance, operations, engineering, and technical support throughout the organization.
The Security Team works closely with all departments to ensure security measures are operating effectively and that risk is being managed appropriately.
We are responsible for data protection, product security, incident response, compliance, backoffice security, and business enablement. Our goal is to ensure security is operating at the highest levels while unlocking the business to move faster.THE ROLE
As part of the Security Team, you will be working to ensure continuous compliance with legal and regulatory requirements including: SOX, PCI, SOC2, GDPR, and CCPA.
You will have a strong cloud and technology background and be able to define security and compliance requirements that work and scale with our products.
In this position you will be working closely with both technical and non-technical teams to ensure the highest level of compliance is being met.
You will bring experience with various security technologies and understand the importance of automation and scale.As part of the broader Security Team, you will help inspire, mentor, and lead by example as we strive to make a positive impact on our customers and the business.
THE SKILL SET:
- Assists in internal/external, thirdparty audit processes for PCI, SOC2, & SOX
- Manage internal controls & reviews including:
- Developing & mapping new processes & controls
- Monthly & quarterly user access reviews (UARs)
- Reviews required for PCI & SOC2 compliance
- Regular risk assessment & issues tracking / resolution
- Presentations & reporting of results, updates and overall progress
- Annual risk assessments of 3rd party vendors, certifications review, etc
- Manages the process for completion of thirdparty security questionnaires
- Manages the process for annual Security policy updates
- Assists in the completion of client RFPs and Security assessments
- You'll have 2+ years' experience in a Compliance Analyst role
- Experience working in an environment with audit or regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience working in an environment where technology is a key element of doing business
- Ability to accomplish projects that require the cooperation of diverse departments, which range from nontechnical to highly technical in their function
- Ability to work independently, and at the same time, understand when it is important to pull others into a project or task
- Organized, responsive, and a thorough problem solver
- Strong communications skills, both written and oral
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
