The purpose of this role is to support the Air & Ocean Continuous Improvement activities, including the management of the audits for the assigned regions, enhancing the adherence to the process and systems and respective operational KPIs.
The purpose is also to lead and support specific projects / initiatives under BPE scope to improve regional or global operational performance.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?- Responsible for the new Site Classification Assessment project, a broader approach to audits being developed for Air & Ocean businesses validate requirements, plan structure and governance, interact with Air & Ocean products and launch the program
- Develop digitalization and innovation fronts to transform and upgrade current tools utilized in the department
- Share best practices of innovations with all levels of BPE organization
- Manage the audits within the assigned regions, including setting the calendar, assign and train auditors, perform or support the audits, review action plans, followup progress, escalation of risks and issues, and communication of results and progress
- Responsible for the quality of the audits performed in the assigned region (e.g. alignment, fact based findings), the performance review of the applicable operational KPIs and proper closure of the actions
- Identify, based on the findings from the audits, key process and system improvement needs. Lead and support projects (together with the BPE team members and Global Products) to define and implement new ways of working across CEVA global operations
- Support medium / long term Continuous Improvement strategy, taking the ownership of specific initiatives and identifying ways to improve team's performance and impact
- Identify, support and/or lead training initiatives (e.g. create training content, deliver training modules, trainers assessment)
- Support the different BPE workstreams, as needed
- BA/BS
- Supply Chain, Engineering, Management / Administration, Economy
- 5 years experience in operational or general management (Air or Ocean)
- Excellent knowledge of Air or Ocean operations
- Formal Lean Six Sigma training and certification (Green Belt or higher)
- Knowledge of Kaizen principles and related tools
- Proven track record in Project Implementation, Change Management, Business Process Improvements, Continuous Improvement, Lean Management projects or similar
- Experience with Change or Implementation projects in a managing role, including functional management of project teams
- Leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop individuals and teams
- Ability to interact with upper management and influence change
- Creative and innovative mindset
- Results & business oriented
- Good coaching and training capabilities
