Your Role and Responsibilities
We are searching for a Public Cloud Sales Architect/Solutioning, to be working closely with our Hyperscalers Alliance Managers, with our Sector&Accounts teams, with our Service Lines/Offerings Teams, and with our Delivery Teams.
The joint focus is to continue scaling our Public Cloud business and strategic partnership with Leading Public Cloud Providers, with a special focus to Azure, AWS and GoogleCloud business development.
As a Cloud Solution Architect in IBM Consulting, you'll also serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. You'll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.
You'll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements, constraints of the system to facilitate, iterate and document the design and adoption of a hybrid cloud model.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- You will act as a trusted advisor aligned to industry trends that develops the framework and integrated solutions that meet the customer's business needs. You will be focusing on Business Development and Bringing Value to Customers based on Public Cloud, by finding synergies between IBM, Hyperscalers and and customers.
- Collaborate with members of the client and IBMers team to define and execute proofs of concept and minimum viable solutions, also helping in defining Use Cases on Public Cloud.
- Own the solutions architecture plan while being a "handson" builder in a clientfacing engagement, developing active and longterm Hyperscalers relationships being the main point of contact between IBM and Microsoft/AWS/GCP Technical Leads, and playing a key role during allignment meetings with Hyperscalers and IBM. You will also be supporting Hyperscalers Alliance Manager on Jointly IBM Consulting-Hyperscaler annual Business Plan and helping to build the alligment between IBM Practices&Offerings and Hyperscalers Cloud offerings, Big Bets and Cloud portfolio.
- Champion an entrepreneurial mindset and deliver unique value by leveraging industry and technology expertise to drive innovative strategies to accelerate clients' success.
- Building Technical training and upskilling for IBM employees supporting rigth Public Cloud capacity & Capabilities within IBM Organization, and helping in the creation of new Reference material. In this capacity, you will also support Jointly Technical events/Initiatives with Hyperscalers and leverage Partner Funding and Partner Programs.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
In order to succeed in this role you should:
- Have over 5 years of in depth use of Microsoft/AWS/GCP Cloud Technologies; Specifically 3+ years of in depth use of Public Cloud, both Infra and Data
- Have over 10 years of experience in IT working closely with Infrastructure and software development.
- Have strong Coordination and Collaboration skills, and being used to work with Virtual teams and in complex matrix Organizations
- Be Targets and Results Oriented and have a structured and analytical way of working
- Have excellent communication skills in
Spanish and in
English: - Experience to deal with C-Level both Technical and Business Decission Makers
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Holding Azure/AWS/GCP Certifications is a must
- Having consulting experience is a plus
- Containers/RedHat experience is a plus
- Big Data experience is a plus
