- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with laws, regulations, guidelines, and company policies.
- Provide scientific and technical leadership to maintain professional relationships with thought leaders and external experts.
- Ensure a strong medical and scientific presence in key academic centers.
- Assist in clinical studies and medical projects within the therapeutic area.
- Facilitate investigator initiated study ideas and requests for medical teams.
- Serve as a point of contact for thought leaders to satisfy their scientific knowledge needs.
- Deliver scientific presentations to physicians with a focus on thought leaders.
- Identify qualified thought leaders for research collaborations or educational roles.
- Facilitate medical and scientific field intelligence and communicate within the company.
- Attend scientific meetings and conferences to inform strategic priorities.
- Assist physicians with requests for access to medicines based on legal requirements.
- Support internal teams such as sales and marketing with scientific expertise.
- Provide scientific and technical support for publications of interest.
- Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline preferred, but experience with an undergraduate degree considered.
- Experience in maintaining expert knowledge in the assigned therapeutic area and medical research.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment and Medical Affairs role.
- Expertise in scientific methods applied to clinical research and regulatory controls.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a focus on collaborative relationships.
- Commitment to compliance, scientific quality, and integrity.
- Fluency in English.
