The Digital Products, Platforms & Services team is a newly formed team sits within Growth, Digital & Platforms (GDP) global function and is responsible for designing, developing & rolling out state-of-the-art digital products across brands, regions & divisions globally and help our brands accelerate organic growth.

THE JOB
We are seeking a seasoned Director of Product - Digital Ecosystem to lead the strategic development and execution of our product agenda spanning multiple brands within our Petcare family to drive digital growth by seamlessly bringing together connected experience for our pet parents and pet owners. This role is pivotal in defining and driving the digital ecosystem strategy, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration among various brands, and enhancing the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, digital transformation, and ecosystem development, with a proven track record of managing complex, multi-brand product portfolios. In this role, you will partner closely with the GDP product leaders across SSO (Single-Sign-On) product comprised of Consent management, Identity and single-sign-on experience for our consumers (Pet Parents and Pet Owners), CDP (Customer Data Platform), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), DAM (Digital Asset Management) and CMS (Content Management System and the frontend experience). You will also partner closely with brand leaders across multiple brands of petcare to bring to live delightful pet owner/pet parent experiences by collaborating and ideating ecosystem synergies, co-creating value based outcomes with the partnership of your business and brand sponsors and lead the ecosystem product roadmap, execution and delivery in locked step with GDP Product leaders. In this role, you will be responsible to drive alignment, keep the schedule and work closely with our PMO team to bring updates as well as flag any escalations and work through the leadership team to mitigate and resolve any escalations. You will also connect with brand and divisional stakeholders to ensure the ecosystem program is well understood, aligned and drive towards delivery for each brand and division across different countries and regions.


What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in product management, with at least 8 years in a leadership role managing digital products.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing digital ecosystem strategies for multi-brand organizations.
  • Strong understanding of martech digital technologies, platforms, and recent trends
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, with experience using Agile and/or traditional waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks, identify opportunities, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working with distributed teams and managing products across multiple brands, business units, and regions is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with global multi-brand company (preferred)
  • Awareness of data privacy regulations and a commitment to ensuring compliance in data-related activities (preferred)


What will be your key responsibilities?

Ecosystem Value Creation:

-Ideate, engage and drive pet owner/pet parent focused value and outcome opportunities working closely with brand, business and product leaders.

-Drive the visibility and awareness of ecosystem value creation across petcare digital growth community as well as various GDP program steering committees.

-Focus on understanding pet parent/pet owner needs and preferences across brands and divisions, tailoring offerings and experiences to create added value at every touchpoint of the pet parent journey

Product Management:

-Oversee the ecosystem product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.

-Partnering closely with brands and business, conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product development and positioning of ecosystem programs.

-Define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and roadmap based on customer needs and business goals.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

-Collaborate with brand leaders, marketing teams, and product/tech partners to ensure alignment and integration of digital products.

-Communicate ecosystem product vision, strategy, and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.

-Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the product teams.

Strategic Leadership:

-Develop and execute a comprehensive digital ecosystem strategy that aligns with the Mars Petcare 2030 OGSM and growth plans.

-Identify opportunities for digital innovation and transformation across the brands with ecosystem in the center.

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of digital products and services.
