Job description:

Our bid team is growing We would like to welcome to our team a
BID MANAGER for international tenders.

Eurecat's Bid Unit manages the whole cycle of a bid - from the procurement notice till contract signature.

The Bid Unit is responsible for the detection of bid announcements aligned with the centre's strategy, detailed analysis of procurement conditions and documentation to be delivered, the fulfilment of formal and documentary requirements, support to the technical bid teams involved in proposal writing, as well as the correct and timely submission of offers.

The Bid Unit manages all incidents of an offer until the contract signature.

Furthermore, we handle any corporate register and document base necessary to qualify as bidder in a specific country or client.


Working in the Bid Unit is highly collaborative: it is a 3-people team, and it requires working with colleagues in distributed and multi-disciplinary teams, understanding and communicating the specific rules specific of each bid procedure, a methodical approach to produce the documentation fully compliant to those rules, and work with strict submission deadlines.

The position requires a well-organized person, with sparks of creativity, a lot of empathy and a strong collaborative spirit.

As each procurement has its uniqueness, attention to details, quick comprehension and implementation of new instructions, work tools or teams are natural to this position.


Requirements:

  • We expect:
  • At least 2 years of work experience in a similar field (sales, tenders, bids, procurement), working with Public Administration and/or international organisations.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Spanish, good knowledge of Catalan (corporate language)
  • Excellent user knowledge of common MSOffice programs
  • We value
  • Experience and qualification in preparing procurement procedures as public buyer and/or handling offers in public procurement procedures,
  • Work experience or qualification in public administration management, international organisations (IADB, World Bank, ESA, etc.)
  • Studies in legal affairs or business administration
  • Experience in (agile) project management
  • Knowledge of other languages
During the trial period 100% presence is required. Afterwards, an agreement for a hybrid model with up to 3 teleworking days can be implemented gradually.

Occasionally, meetings or trainings will be held in other Eurecat offices.
