Functional responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate VAT returns. (monthly/ quarterly basis)
  • Prepare and deliver quality financial reports as required by internal or external requirements
  • Initiate further investigations and corrections when applicable.
  • Perform the VAT closing activities and resolve subsequent queries.
  • Calculate and post accruals, revaluations, etc.
  • Keep up to date on Legislation related to VAT and other informative returns in the country under responsibility (Continuous Professional Education)
  • Participate on internal & external financial audits. Support the local and tax organization particularly in case of tax audits.
  • Participate in special projects either based on business requests for support or internal team projects for continuous improvement of processes and data quality.
  • Perform detailed review, analysis and interpretation of defined processes in the VAT area, ensuring accuracy of data and adequate processing and reporting.

  • Initiate and drive improvement opportunities in the scope of the team.

  • To know and implement a series of operating procedures that demand attention to detail under pressure conditions.
  • Cooperate with the VAT Team and Tax Organization in various VAT/TAX projects and initiatives.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years TAX/finance experience.
  • Accounting/ finance University degree.
  • Business proficiency in English.
  • SAP R3 knowledge is a must.
  • Demonstrated IT skills (Microsoft office tools, etc...)
