YOUR MISSION


Glovo is looking for a passionate, proactive, data-driven and hands-on professional to support our Operations & Strategy department in our Madrid office.

You will be providing both strategic thinking and analytical skills to help building excellence in Operations with focus into the Spanish market.


THE JOURNEY

  • Understand the operations model in Glovo to provide advice to the different teams
  • Contribute to the business discussion by suggesting different and novel analysis approaches
  • Translate business queries into quantified & insightful reporting and KPIs to assess performance and determine the effectiveness of the implemented initiatives
  • Ensure scalability of the reporting
  • Own creation and structure of Operations KPIs, ensure they are properly implemented in the DDBB
  • Define and design dashboards to give visibility to the topmanagement of the Operations performance
  • Follow a datadriven decisionmaking process
  • Build robust relationships with stakeholders acting as a strategic and supportive link between operations and business

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Maths/Physics, Engineering
  • 13 years of professional experience outside of an academic and internship setting
  • Demonstrated proficiency in working with clean & optimized SQL, querying mid to large volumes of data
  • Consulting experience is a plus
  • Python is a plus
  • Good understanding of how to extract insights from Data Warehouses
  • Ability to summarize and represent data (e.g descriptive statistics and graphs)
  • Ability to create robust, insightful, and storytelling visualizations using modern BI & Analytics tools and ability to identify data Issues
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working in a high growth and high performance company with a fast pace
  • Itchy feet and continuous thrive on learning through different projects
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Understanding of A/B test principles, in order to design, conduct and analyze different experiments
