About the Position:

Job Summary


This position will play an essential role to integrate our leading cardiology product in the Spanish market with the different hospital information systems.


In coordination with the field support team, this role will participate in the definition, implementation, testing, as well as the final deployment and maintenance of the integration with the different information systems required by the hospital.


Key Accountabilities

  • The Mirth Integrator will participate in the design of any integration interacting with hospital IT team and cardiology department team.
  • The Mirth Integrator will implement the solution using the Mirth connect tool.
  • The Mirth Integrator will create a library of workflows to reuse them in different hospitals.
  • The Mirth integrator will test the implemented integration through documented test protocols, to provide evidence of the correct functioning of the integration.
  • The Mirth integrator will document the entire integration and maintain the documentation as it evolves into different versions/evolutions.

Networking/Key relationships


This position requires cooperation with the customer, basically with the user representatives, as well as with the IT staff, who will expose the functions and services available for the system integration.


Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:


  • Education: Engineer BS or MS, Computer science BS or MS, or other technical degree.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years as a Systems Integrator using Mirth tool.

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Familiarity and understanding of the system integration in Healthcare contexts
  • High Knowledge of Mirth tool, installation, configuration and use.
  • Good Knowledge in messaging protocols such as HL7, FHIR, RestFul Services, and JSON formatted data.
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulated environments (such as the healthcare market) and related requirements
  • Problemsolving attitude
  • Team working

Travel requirements:

  • Up to 20% of time
