  • Assess the current working methods, the testing organization involved in mobile testing automation, and the automation objectives.
  • Examine the existing testing automation framework for mobile apps.
  • Analyze project requirements (market customizations, test data needs, environments, variables for testing optimization, etc.) to determine the most suitable technological setup.
  • Compile information on current technologies, both open-source and licensed, with potential for integration into the technological setup.
  • Evaluate a shortlist of technologies for a Proof of Concept based on predefined criteria.
  • Create a business case for the selected technologies, which may include programming-based or low-code solutions.
  • Present the advantages and drawbacks of the technologies identified during the evaluation.
  • Lead the implementation and integration of the chosen technology framework, collaborating with other teams such as development and devsecops.
  • Integrate the framework with other organizational systems, such as reporting and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Communicate and manage the change associated with the implementation.
  • Oversee the testing automation framework to drive continuous improvement.
QualificationsWho are we looking for?
  • +10 years of experience in testing automation, with a minimum of 6 years automating native apps using various methods.
  • Familiarity with multiple technologies (Appium, Spresso, Katalon, TestComplete, NightwatchJS, XCUI tests, Calabash, Robotium, Flutter, Robot Framework, Selendroid, Xamarin, Copado, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud platforms providing access to simulators and physical devices (Browserstack, Saucelabs, Perfecto Mobile, etc.)
  • Proficiency in utilizing AI for testing optimization (test preparation, bug estimation, self-healing scripts, etc.)
  • Understanding of complex information system architecture and web services.
  • Programming skills in Java, Javascript, VBScript, TypeScript, C#, Python, etc.
  • Ability to assess the return on investment of testing automation.
  • Experience with multiple automation testing solutions, particularly within a multi-market mobile app environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to suggest enhancements and drive continuous improvement.
