The Role:

We are Marketing. As a team, we actively drive Personio's growth by generating demand and generating leads. Our roster of marketeers strategise, conceptualise, create, craft, review, iterate and manage the journey from curious to customer.

Blaze a new trail, take risks and break all the rules while creating the category leader for HR software.

As Marketing Operations Manager (d/f/m) you play a critical and increasingly strategic function within our marketing team.

By leveraging data, insight and technology, you drive strategy, performance and sustainable growth for and with the wider Go-to-market team.


We are looking for someone who can actively collaborate with multiple stakeholders, introduce technology wisely and who won't hesitate to innovate.

Your part in our team counts as a critical piece of the marketing puzzle that creates our system for attracting and winning customers and will help us shape the path to becoming the category leading HR software in Europe.

You will be based in London/Dublin/Munich/Madrid/Amsterdam/Berlin and are part of the Marketing Operations team. You report directly to our Marketing Operations Lead.

Your role includes but is not limited to:

  • Owning Hubspot as the main admin and owning our prospect data:
  • Provide stable, scalable and GDPRcompliant processes and the ongoing optimization of them
  • Develop, manage, and own our database strategy (including data hygiene, segmentation, database analysis, and reporting)
  • Manage account, users, rights, roles and documentation
  • Enabling users on Hubspot best practices and ensuring they are set up for success
  • Managing integrations with other tools in our tech stack
  • Using marketing automation to convert more of our incoming prospects to (pre) qualified opportunities.
  • Define and execute strategy on how to convert prospects into sales opportunities and, ultimately, into customers.
  • Optimize the handover of prospects to sales when they are ready to engage personally.
  • Map out a buyer's journey and execute campaigns in coordination with it.
  • Developing our Martech stack (currently Hubspot and Intercom) according to our mid
- and long-term needs while staying on top of best practices and trends, and additionally identifying, implementing and championing new tools, and tactics.

  • Constantly monitoring and analyzing results and KPIs, adapting our strategy and campaigns based on your findings.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have a minimum of 5 years experience in Marketing Operations (SaaS companies preferred)
  • You have a thorough understanding of B2B marketing processes as well as automation and CRM tools due to previous experience (Hubspot and SFDC preferred)
  • You are able to balance business, technology, and process requirements.
  • You are customercentric and commercially driven.
  • You are data driven, think analytically and are strong in defining processes (and have examples to show for it)
  • You enjoy crossfunctional collaboration and are at ease in managing different stakeholders
  • You are passionate about quality control and efficiency
  • You are fluent in English
