JOB DESCRIPTION:
CIC energiGUNE is looking for an R&D Project Office Manager to manage and coordinate the organization's public funding projects.
The position will report to the Business Development Director of the Center and will coordinate with the Financial and General Directors.
The
main responsibilities of the position are:
- Perform strategic planning of the project portfolio in collaboration with the scientific, technological and management directors.
- Manage public funding opportunities, keep updated information on all public calls of interest to the center and related general documentation.
- Centralize and coordinate the management of the organization's public funding projects.
- Coordinate, reporting to the Business Development Director, a team of R&D project managers with different profiles, maximizing individual contributions and promoting alignment with the center's objectives.
- Ensure efficient coordination with research teams to optimize project execution.
- Know and master the project management methodology ensuring its standardization in the organization and the associated documentation management.
- Prioritize and manage resources ensuring the achievement of technical and economic deliverables.
- To carry out the financial planning of the projects anticipating and ensuring their subsequent correct economic justification in collaboration with the economicfinancial department.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INSTITUTION:
CIC energiGUNE is a research center specialized in energy, electrochemical energy storage (batteries and supercapacitors), thermal energy solutions and hydrogen, a member of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance
- BRTA, and a strategic initiative of the Basque Government. CIC energiGUNE was created in 2011 to generate excellent knowledge and at the same time useful for the Basque business network, being a reference in knowledge transfer.
CIC energiGUNE has a dynamic research team of more than 150 researchers and is extremely well equipped with a wide range of up-to-date facilities that are fully available for all its researchers.
Also, the European Commission has recently awarded CIC energiGUNE with the ́HR Excellence in Research ́ which reflects its commitment to achieving fair and transparent recruitment and appraisal procedures and certifies the existence of a stimulating and favorable work environment for researchers in the institution.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering, chemistry, physics or related disciplines. Business Administration or similar with experience in the sector will also be valued.
- Experience of at least 5 years in project management. It will be highly valued if it has been obtained in research centers, technology centers, R+D+i consulting, or similar.
- Knowledge and/or experience in agile project methodologies will be highly valued.
- Excellent level of spoken and written English.
- A proactive person with leadership and communication skills.
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Resultoriented person.
