Your role & work environment**The Lending, Monitoring, Reporting & Analytics (LMRA) officer will be part of the Corporate Sector Lending Team (CSL) in Spain & Portugal. You will work in close collaboration with the colleagues from the CSL team, Credit Risk Management, Back-office teams, and other product teams. You will become a specialist and/or alternate for the below tasks.

Your key responsibilities**You manage the
compliance
aspects
of Lending Transactions including adherence & maintenance of information barrier/conflict, support in KYC/CDD processes (being a link between CSL team and compliance teams), compliance with FATCA requirements. You will further assure compliance with ING Lending control policies** including monitoring of upcoming deadlines or occurred overdues (review dates, rating, covenants, CDD, ESR, past dues etc), collect/deliver evidence, required for the signing of a credit documentation.


You will be the
link between the **structuring team
of CSL **and
(1) operational services
to ensure adequate and timely set-up of the lending facilities in the systems (LoanIQ, IFS etc) that includes various post-completion tasks: preparation of documentation check list, cover sheet, review date update, forbearance status update, investigation of mismatches in client income allocation, ESR update; (2)
the support team in Sri Lanka, involved, inter alia, in covenant monitoring, risk rating and (portfolio) review.

You will be responsible to assure the data quality during the lifecycle of the file and follow up on conditions precedent and conditions subsequent


You are responsible for the drafting of certain bilateral & ancillary credit facilities, securities, audit statements and POA's for CSL and ensure correct archiving according to data record retention/protection policy.

You will also handle
regulatory requests** including the delivery of information on request of our auditor, ECB, Bank of Spain, Sox-, CAS- and operating risk management
- colleauges.

You coordinate and manage the reporting on
ECB Leveraged transactions,
regulatory changes with impact on the portfolio (e.g. IBOR etc).

You will also proceed with approval of internal procedures (PARPs) and ING internal projects for processes alignment across the countries.

As a Lending Transaction Management expert you will also need:

  • A bachelor in economics, business, law or comparable (or through experience), and min. 3 years of relevant experience, including a proven track record in dealing with (complex) lending transactions and in general dealing with clients
  • An exemplary wellorganised and punctual approach and ability to work on several deals/tasks simultaneously
  • Good analytical skills and ability to deal with complexity
  • Ability to work autonomously, but also actively cooperate with team and other colleagues
  • Very good oral and written skills in Spanish and English.
