The Site IT Infrastructure Engineer's role is to support infrastructure operational and build capabilities for our business units in our Barcelona Palafolls site and be the custodian of the IT Infrastructure on the ground.

The Site IT Infrastructure Engineer's role is to support infrastructure operational and build capabilities for our business units in our Barcelona Palafolls site and be the custodian of the IT Infrastructure on the ground.

Major Accountabilities Ensure that local teams and vendors deliver maintenance, troubleshooting and service delivery according to Sandoz standardsAct as interface between local service requests and the global horizontal delivery teamsCommunicate and establish upcoming IT Infrastructure changes to the local communities.
Provide consolidated feedback about IT Infrastructure services to the horizontal delivery teamsSupport and ensure compliance to defined IT Governance controls, standards, and practices.
Accountable for managing suppliers as applicable in ensuring they deliver quality services and meet all contractual obligations. Tracks actual utilization of services and reporting of supplier performance in meeting business service expectations and service levels.Competencies IT Infrastructure ManagementIT Service Management Practices (ITIL Foundation Certification)

sound knowledge of validation practice and IT control standardsSystems Integration & Build (Dev-Ops mindset and full solution lifecycle understanding from idea to retirement)Hands on experience in managing local business requirements and solving issues on siteCustomer and service first attitudeKey Performance Indicators Local Services are managed within SLA/OLA KPIsLearning Agility, Ability to evaluate and launch new services & capabilitiesProductivity gains and defect reduction through continuous improvement End User Experience and satisfactionProcess and compliance setup is applied and adheredIdeal Background Education:
University degree in Computer Science or comparable education
Languages:
Fluent English written and spoken
Experience and Skills: 5 years of IT experience in operations and system management.
More than 5 years of experience in Service Management or Engineering of a local IT infrastructure portfolio across multiple business areas, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
Track record in delivering local projects on time, quality, and budget
