Our client is a mechanical manufacturing company, with 150 years and employees, leading the manufacturing of compressed air and gas equipment, generators, industrial tools and assembly systems, and vacuum pumps, delivering innovate products with always the future in mind.
They are currently in process of creating new energy storage products and looking to hire for the Spanish Zaragoza factory 2 Energy Storage Electrical Design Engneers.
The Role:
The person appointed will be responsible for the electrical/electronic design and development of the projects assigned, primarily Energy Storage and Hybrid Power Systems.
The main functions for the position are:
- Design and develop the electrical and electronic systems for a new Energy Storage products (Battery-inverter system, battery and energy management system, Control panel, PLC programing, power connections, calculation of wiring, communications between different modules of the machine, etc.).
- Create and maintain the technical documentation for supplier assembly and aftermarket service of the machinery. The CAE modules used are Eplan P8, Pro Panel and Harness
- Manage the issues detected during the manufacturing process to ensure the continuous improvements.
- Work closely with other departments and external partners to assure and optimize the designs.
- Cooperate and supervise in the process of prototypes and industrialization of the projects.
Experience requirements:
At least 5 years of proven experience in similar jobs.
Educational Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Knowledge requirements:
CAE, Eplan P8, Pro Panel and Harness
Office pack
Professional competence in English
PLM Smartteam or Windchill
General knowledge of electronics
Knowledge in power electronics, electrical machinery and batteries or solar systems.
Knowledge in batteries and Energy Storage systems
Knowledge in power electronics, electrical machinery and solar systems
Knowledge on electrical regulations and certifications (CE Mark and UL/CSA desirable)
