The Job


For IZAKAYA IBIZA, we are looking for a Supervisor, who is people skilled and motivated to give our guests an unforgettable dining experience.

We are looking for someone with good leadership skills. Someone with lots of hospitality and management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Restaurant Manager
  • Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about the shareddining concept, ingredients, or potential food allergies)
  • Offer menu recommendations upon request
  • Coordinate the communication between the floor and the kitchen team
  • Coordinate the table settings
  • Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about the shareddining concept, ingredients or potential food allergies)
  • Prepare tables by setting up silverware and glasses
  • Offer menu recommendations upon request
  • Upsell additional products when appropriate
  • Communicate order details to the kitchen team
  • Serve food and drink orders
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems to your manager
  • Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
  • Deliver checks and collect bill payments
  • Positive attitude and aim to provide great communication skills

Requirements:

  • Strong team player
  • Open to learn and gain experience
  • Attentiveness and patience for guests
  • Aim to deliver excellent presentation skills
  • Organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fastpaced environment
  • Active listening and effective communication skills
  • Team spirit
  • Ability to speak English & Spanish
  • You live in Amsterdam (or nearby)
