As a Data Expert at Chubb, you'll collaborate with regional actuaries, MI and IT teams, as well as various segment leaders and line managers across Europe.



Responsibilities:

  • Support in defining, coding, and testing rules on our Rules Engine for automated processes.
  • Oversee migration triage for online platforms and underwriting teams, including creating work items and monitoring failures.
  • Collaborate with the BI team to improve data available for underwriting efforts and portfolio management.
  • Enhance and develop data-focused underwriting processes, such as IIR commission review and Peer Review.
  • Provide training for stakeholders on renewals triage, portfolio data, and new reporting solutions.
  • Generate precise MI related to Commercial Lines performance.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance databases and MI solutions.
  • Adhere to Chubb's ethical guidelines and standards.
  • Assist in projects aimed at improving Underwriting efficiency.
  • Continuous education to enhance technical skills and maintain professional credentials.

Qualifications:

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Insurance or Actuarial Science.
  • Proficient in Excel macros, Python, R, Qliksense, Qlikview, and SQL for data management.
  • Excellent English language skills; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and detail-oriented attitude.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Team player with initiative.
