Job Summary,


Reporting to KAM Lead, part of Allergan Aesthetics commercial division, KAM & Cool Sculpting Manager will combine responsibilities: Key Account Management of top Accounts of Facial & Body countering products (TOXIN, fillers and medical devices) with the leadership and Body Counturing technology and team (Cool Sculpting).

The position will be split in 50% KAM role and 50% Cool Sculpting manager.


The role as Key Accounts Manager is to lead, develop and be accountable for the results of a group of skilled Strategic Key Accounts.

As a KAM will develop strategies to ensure the required growth across the portfolio and align these to the marketing plan ensuring excellence in execution of the tactics employed.

The Key Accounts Manager will also work with relevant internal stakeholders to negotiate the most profitable commercial terms to drive sales growth and ensure customer retention to develop and secure resources to support and execute agreed strategies and tactic.


Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and Coach Cool Sculpting Team (two people) to develop and execute account plans, delivering on target performance.
  • Nationally analyses the opportunities and threats to the corporate and high value/high potential accounts, providing regular updates to the KAM LEAD and Marketing teams
  • Gather and coordinate competitor intelligence, feeding this into marketing & commercial strategies to ensure the creation of cohesive value proposition
  • Develop and coach the PDM 's to enable them to deliver innovative co created value for clients to drive growth for both the client and Allergan
  • Recognize and reward the Strategic and Business Development KAMs in a way that is appropriate for their roles and that is motivational, incentivizing the correct behaviors
  • Positively and proactively reinforce the value of KAM collaboration across all relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Coach and mentor, the team to actively project manage and report on long term growth driver co created objectives and actions via Key Account Plans
  • Develop and implement tools for data analysis with KAMs to enable them to drive growth, forecast and accurately produce sales reviews for accounts
  • Strategic account vision
  • Ability to incorporate business intelligence and determine a gotomarket strategy through internal planning sessions.
  • Defines and manages the solution development process, develops a differential value proposition, and values the ROI for the customer and the company
  • Manages funnel of short
- and mid-term opportunities and pre-formulates specific
- project management requirements. Provides for post-deployment customer support and evaluation.

  • Analysis of business insights and data to elaborate strategy based on account analysis and elaborate strategic plans supported on data.
  • Joint solution and co creation & development business and accounts
  • Ability to communicate credibly and effectively at the customer level, demonstrating understanding of the customer's
  • Financials and financial strategy. Provides thoughtleadership on customer's business issues, priorities and key challenge Engages the customer in the account planning process and works collaboratively to identy value based.
  • Cocreates innovative solutions in areas of highest joint potential and innovation.
  • Create and defend a solid value proposition versus competitors, demonstrating mutual ROI.
  • Negotiates and reaches agreement on company engagement and specific deals, specifying resource commitment and allocations internally
  • Education and Experience: University degree
  • Significant experience in high level key account management and business planning with experience in dealing with databased methods for the formulation and monitoring of methods and results
  • Range of industry experience: Devices and Pharma.
  • Proven sales success essential
  • Profitability analysis
  • Sales management experience, ideally in a matrix environment
  • Experience in marketing and consulting desirable
  • Track record of coordinating resources across a S&M organization to deliver individual customers outstanding service
