About the role

  • Responsible for development of the organizational capability to get the expected results for his/her line
  • The Line Leader is the responsible for the operation results for his line (SQCDM)
  • Provide Line leadership, direction setting and coaching. S/He is the hierarchical leader.
  • Creates an environment where Health Checks ensures sustainability of results.

What You will do

  • Be a role model
  • Walk the talk
  • Sets the Line objectives and Goals cascaded and aligned to Site and Business needs
  • Coaches the organization in the right behaviors
  • Ensures Line works to standards (Safety, Quality,)
  • 2st stage for incident (safety, quality, environment.) management
  • Coaches and facilitate losses elimination by using problem solving tools,
  • Assures the problems are solved (root cause) and tasks are implemented in a sustainable way
  • Ensures continuous improvement following DDS zero loss flowchart or/and SGA in line with Business Needs
  • Ensures the collection and right reporting of performance KPIs for the Line
  • Manages resources of the Line and technology showing cost consciousness (absences, material,)
  • Accountable for the Line Operational Budget
  • Creates an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team work for the Line
  • Communication of Company/Site/MBU/Line vision and cascading objectives and priorities into the Line
  • Performance management process (GPS, 1:1) and responsible for consequence management
  • Coaches and develop the Line members and individuals to assure a sustained leadership pipeline
  • Responsible for the motivation and morale of the Line to achieve the expected goals
  • Collaborates with other areas internal and external to the site, in an holistic way
  • Deals with Conflicts inside the Line
  • Recognizes and celebrates team and Line accomplishments and results achievement
  • Ensures effective communication and results review through the meeting sequence (Team/Shift handover/MBUs/Site)
  • Owns the recruitment process in his/her Line

Who You are
Engineering or equivalent

Two years of experience in similar roles on an industrial environment.

IT skills (high level on Excel, Word, PowerPoint...)

Fluent in English

Communication skills

Team management and development skills

Analytics and standardized mindset

Continuous Improvement training
