Our opportunity
As a Junior Application Maintenance Engineer you will be working with the Operations Manager to ensure that the global Cloud platforms meet performance and service level targets and to identify and implement improvements to the platform.
You will also be responsible to ensure that the platforms are operated in line with security and ITSM Governance standards and to take the appropriate measures to bring the platforms into alignment.
Working alongside a team of architects and developers, you will also be expected to provide input into the system design process.
Additionally, you will have the chance to work in an agile environment collaborating and communicating with peers and stakeholders at all levels of the organization on a daily basis.

Your role
As a Junior Application Maintenance Engineer your main responsibilities will involve:
- Ensuring that the service levels and performance KPI's are met across our cloud platforms, taking action where necessary to address or escalate performance or operational issues
- Reporting service performance to the line management and provide feedback on the execution of operational tasks to the business
- Managing incident escalations and complaints, working with the teams to resolve individual service issues and supporting the Business in disaster recovery testing
- Supporting activities to ensure compliance with the IT Service Management Governance, and police
- Management and execution of infrastructure deployment cycles and transfers to production
- Corrective maintenance activities where required
- Ensuring that config management and change control processes are followed
- Participation in platform modernization initiatives
Your Skills and Experience
As a Junior Application Maintenance Engineer you will ideally bring the following skills:
- Experience of cloud platforms (Azure and Dynamics365 an advantage, PowerBI nice to have)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools
- Azure Devops knowhow
- Development tools experience(Visual Studio, SSMS)
- Knowledge of ITSM processes and tools (ServiceNow an advantage)
- Good problem solving, analytical capabilities
- Eagerness to learn new technologies
- Eagerness to work in a multicultural environment
- Spanish and German language skills are a plus
- Advanced Communication skills in written and spoken English.
