The Role We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Manager to oversee and manage our company's information technology systems and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall planning, organization, and execution of all IT functions within the organization.

The IT Manager will work closely with senior management to develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.


Goal of the position:
Reporting to the COO, focused on the management of company data at each company-specific level:

Integrating all the data into a new cloud-based data lake, leading the implementation with IT service providers in the market.

Leading and enhancing internal cybersecurity processes, supporting the construction team for projects under construction and asset management for operational projects.

Developing and implementing IT policies and procedures to ensure the safeguard the security and integrity of company data and systems.

Manage and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner.
Monitor system performance and implement measures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Manage IT projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling.
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in information technology and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements.

General Skills / Attributes:

At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally with a proven track record of IT in Renewable Energy portfolio.

Strong technical background with expertise in network administration, system integration, and cybersecurity.
Knowledge of programming tools such as Python, Pandas, PowerBI, to develop internal tools for the operational management.
Knowledge of working in cloud-based environments.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, PMP) preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, macros, pivot tables, etc.
Solid communication skills when conducting technical discussions in diverse cultural environments.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
