About the Role


Sibylline is looking for an experienced security management professional to join us in an embedded role for our client (luxury goods), focused on the Europe and Middle East region.

Based anywhere in the European Union (EU) but with regular travel to the clients offices in Switzerland and their boutiques in the region, the Regional Security Manager, EMEA will be responsible for ensuring the security of new sites, including boutiques, offices, distribution centers, and other facilities, through the optimization of auditing tools and SOPs.

This role also collaborates heavily with other global and regional security managers, local law enforcement, and security vendors to respond to ad hoc security needs to the highest possible standard.


This role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the EU, with the expectation of regular travel to the clients offices in Switzerland and other sites throughout the Europe and Middle East region.

The Regional Security Manager will report to the clients in-house security leadership team day-to-day but will also be looked after by Sibyllines embed management team.

Full support and guidance will be provided from our head office, including training and professional development.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Optimise auditing tools and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for security risk assessments at country and citylevel for new sites, including future boutiques, offices, distributions centres, and other facilities;
  • Produce risk assessments and security plans for client exhibitions and special business events, supervising their implementation;
  • Where required, assist with travel risk management operations within the region of responsibility, working with inhouse teams and vendors to optimise travel safety solutions, staff support, and emergency response;
  • Manage routine technical and operational engagement between the client and local security vendors, including guard force and equipment providers;
  • Develop and maintain networks with local law enforcement agencies to ensure sharing of critical information and incident response procedures;
  • Develop and maintain networks with other security professionals in the luxury goods sector, engaging with local industry and security networks;
  • Contribute to designs for emergency (mass) notification systems, regional control centres, and processes for gathering and utilising intelligence;
  • Assist the clients security leadership with any ad hoc technical and operational needs.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Education: An undergraduate degree in Security Studies, International Relations, Business Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferable. However, we will also consider applicants with commensurate experience working hands on in security operations. Advanced degrees or certifications in security or risk management (E.g., CPP, PSP, CSMP, CMCS) are highly desirable;
  • Incident Interpretation: The ability to interpret and assess the impact of domestic and global security incidents on business operations, staff, assets, and reputation is essential;
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to articulate analysis and recommendations to a wide range of internal stakeholders, including senior management, and external partners. A positive, cando attitude is required for this role.
  • Collaboration: The ability to collaborate with other service functions, such as IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Trust & Safety, and others, is essential. Strong business acumen is also highly advantageous.
  • Sensitive Data Handling: The ability to handle and disseminate sensitive data and information with a high level of personal integrity and professionalism is critical;
