A graduate in a technical discipline and with extensive experience in Powder Coatings in either an operations, or engineering environment, you are looking to develop your career in a business that is a world expert in making coatings.

We are now recruiting a
Powder Process Technology Manager who combines strong Powder Coatings processing and equipment knowledge, process safety and leadership skills to develop, deploy and maintain technology & engineering standards, along with best practice knowledge and expertise related to Powder Coatings technology and engineering areas.


Powder Process Technology Manager - The role:

  • Develop, communicate and maintain the Engineering & Technology standards as well as Best Practice and "How to" guides in appropriate areas to drive excellence in manufacturing operations
  • Ensure the standards and guides are operations centric and address the needs of all sites by establishing and leading Reference Group(s) of key stakeholders; detailing the key safety, quality and sustainability aspects while ensuring the right balance of value for money and total cost of ownership
  • Drive the Continuous Improvement of established standards, in line with business needs, safety requirements, sustainability goals and identified standard specific KPI's; i.e OEE, RFT, Material Efficiency, Energy
  • Be the reference for the Powder Coatings area, being the clear technology leader to relevant Global Process Engineering and Technology groups
  • Lead scoping, piloting and development of innovative technology or equipment solutions for Powder Coatings
  • Work with sites on deploying best practices as well as in focused problem solving activities on critical process engineering issues
  • Support and guide the implementation of the standards across the network by acting as technology licensor and by coaching local project/engineering teams

Powder Process Technology Manager - About You:

10 years of experience in manufacturing (project management, maintenance/engineering & operations management), ideally with batch manufacturing.

Technical university degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering

  • Work experience as an engineering or technical manager and/or operations management in the
    Powder Coatings area:
  • A data driven,
    continuous improvement mindset with strong analytical abilities

Strong skills in project planning and
execution in an
international environment

  • Able to lead change in challenging times, effectively challenging the standard approaches where appropriate
  • Excellent problem solving and risk management skills

Coaching and influencing skills in a matrix organization

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills

Fluent in English (verbal and written)
