Job Summary

Part of Workforce solutions, the Poly services business is a major pilar of Lifecyle Services, focus on driving significant growth . The main responsibility of this worldwide team is to drive, animate the life cycle of the HP Personal System Services portfolio and enable new area of business growth., across the globe. This position is a Category manager which will have both regional portfolio manager and program manager. This position requires working closely with the worldwide Services product teams and the countries.

Responsibilities

Be the ambassadors of services portfolio. Delivers training, awareness, excitement to the extended HP ecosystem.

Leads with cross-functional, cross-organizational teams the development and the execution of introduction plans.

Ensures optimal service execution and customer satisfaction, providing support for deal solutioning when needed.

Utilizes technical and business skills to lead complex cross-functional activities that drives service execution.

Drives profitable growth with focus & initiatives, new services & capabilities, 4P planning.

Develops a 4P plan for the portfolio and facilitate its activation in markets/GTM.

Supports and helps Services market category and Sales to activate and sell services successfully and profitably.

Leverage insights knowledge to assess current portfolio and processes - identify gaps and opportunities in collaboration with local category and sales.

Utilize in-depth understanding of customer business and complex requirements to develop business case, and demonstrate services added value to GBU.

Work across geographies and worldwide teams to develop new/enhanced services, solutions and processes/capabilities to meet customer and market needs and drive profitable growth.

Contributes to defining program metrics, goals, and benchmarks, and establishes mechanisms to track and report progress against them.

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge, leads, and contributes to complex projects, and exercises independent judgment in resolving business issues and establishing policies.

Develops and builds productive internal/external working relationships and provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.

Education & Experience Recommended

Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Business school, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in product marketing, business development, project management or a related field, in Services and/or Personal System organizations.

Knowledge & Skills

High knowledge of PC and Services industry.

In-depth and broad knowledge of company organization, functions, culture, HPS services portfolio, routes to markets, and end to end processes.

Unique mastery and recognized authority in area of responsibility. Need solid technical, and state-of- the-art functional, or business knowledge.

Highly developed problem-solving abilities.

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, develop relationships across organizations and accomplish goals under pressure situations. Strong skills in exercising independent judgment.

Ability to correctly design reports and interpret their output.

Highly developed project/ program management and change management skills. Solid understanding of business planning methods and business acumen.

Excellent presentation skills. Highly developed negotiation/ influencing skills.
