HOW IT ́S DONEESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Monthly reporting of leads received by geo source & segmentation
  • Weekly reporting of sales activity and highlights
  • Analyze demand, competitors, market trends and profile production statistics, account history, historical reporting and present this information to DOS and DOGS on a monthly basis
  • Preparation of sales presentations
  • Facilitate the handover process from the sales to the events team by assisting in person. Review contracts and turn to definite status, booking details in Opera such as prices, event details, room inventory management, checking overbooking risks and being in contact with support for any revenue impacting situation to fix the system.
  • Keep the system numerically up-to-date, identify daily errors in-group revenue and stay on top of the sales Team
  • Supervise data entry of booking information and customer contact details. Ensure system is well organized and filled with accurate information from customers.
  • Lead and RFP management. Use internal databases including but not limited to OPERA, OneSource, Cvent, and online booking platforms to keep track of leads and RFPs. Liaise with global Marriott Sales organization contacts.

Assist with tour operator contracting:

prepare, send, and follow up with yieldable rate contracts, handle day-to-day communication with TOs, brochure contributions, marketing collaborations, newsletters, information requests, etc., under supervision of Account Director, Sales Managers and DOS.


Support to the Sales Team:
Monthly reporting of productions of special corporate, wholesale and luxury consortia and share with GM, DOS and AD. Assist in establishing goals for contracted accounts.
Assistance with administrative tasks such as taking care of registration forms, and updating EPIC, Opera, etc.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONSIn addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESThe individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Requirements1.Good knowledge of Excel & Opera Sales & Catering PMS system.2.Mandatory proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.3.Knowledge of MARSHA and understanding the importance of synchronization with PMS and MARSHA.

Proficient in Sales systems (Reslink, MARSHA, Empower) to help meeting planners and potential clients4.Good numerical analysis and computational skills.

Analytical and problem-solving capabilities are a must5.Responsible of numbers data for all team member and able to defend them in front of large group of people applying knowledge, precision and simplicity6.Spanish and English language fluency.


Hours:
The typical working schedule of the Sales Analyst is from Monday to Friday from 09.00 AM to 17.00 PM but may be flexible
