About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer specializing in high-performance systems to shape the backbone of our live-entertainment platform. You'll play a pivotal role in creating, developing, improving, and maintaining all Fever services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fully integrate into the team and participate in planning, grooming, and retrospectives within the first month.
  • Familiarize yourself with our tech stack, CI/CD workflows, and operational infrastructure during your first month.
  • Propose solutions to new challenging problems, from architecture design to implementation after three months.
  • Create production-grade Python code designed to handle high levels of traffic after three months.
  • Take on responsibilities for different parts of the system, analyzing user usage and evolving the platform after six months.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of good practices, testing, and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in business English.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL, taking it to its limits (ideally PostgreSQL).
  • Proficiency in using Datadog or other similar profiling tools and monitoring systems.
Nice to Have
  • Python (Django/Flask) experience.
  • Redis experience.
  • Event communication between services experience, including Celery with RabbitMQ.
  • Handling services with more than 1000 requests/second experience.
  • AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes experience.

  • Base Salary: 50,000 - 65,000EUR.
  • Total Compensation: 67,500 - 90,000EUR (Including Base, Variable, and Stock Options).
