What your responsibilities will be Contract Manufacturing Production Planning- Design and propose the annual production plan to Plant Production Control to ensure efficient resource utilization, meet contractual commitments, and maximize overall business profitability.
- Monitor and control the correct execution of the plan and adherence to short-term company plans.
- Monitor and control manufacturing times and product release until it is made available to contractors.
- Propose alternative production strategies and the best scenario in situations of change and/or uncertainty.
- Control and monitor inventories to ensure an adequate stock of intermediate and finished products according to contractual commitments.
- Work with cross-functional teams, proactively identifying execution risks and opportunities, investigating the causes of variations, proposing solutions, and supervising implementation to achieve performance objectives; escalate key risks and issues as needed.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and Biopharma Product Delivery/Production Control and Commercial to facilitate the resolution of deficiencies and conflicts as well as the identification of operational opportunities to ensure that all aspects of manufacturing are executed with excellence.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the Legal Department for the signing/renewal or addenda/closure of contracts to ensure the timely and systematic integration of the contributions and knowledge of the parties involved (e.g., Commercial, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing).
- Develop and apply contract management and administration procedures in accordance with company policy. If applicable, contribute to the review of the policy or provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal linked areas to monitor the satisfaction of key customers (e.g., business reviews, surveys) to ensure alignment of expectations, reinforce Grifols' value, and build trust among our customers.
- Manage contract manufacturing performance, including the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs), compliance with contractual obligations or potential penalties, and the execution of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate to management the evolution of contract compliance.
- Coordinate with the Operations department of the production plants to ensure the systematic and efficient implementation of new products, processes, and/or services.
- Define and deploy operational excellence tools, processes, and systems that maximize value streams throughout the contract manufacturing ecosystem.
