The Education & Advising Coordinator (freelance) will perform the following functions for IE University programs, reporting to the Director of Education and the Director of Advising within the Talent & Careers department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Program Management on Blackboard: Upload and update content, review module structure, check assignments, address student questions, evaluate student work, and communicate with students regarding deadlines and assignments.
  • CV Review Projects Management: Oversee the entire process of reviewing and providing feedback on CVs.
  • Workshop Logistics: Handle all logistics (scheduling, room booking, registration, materials, publication on IE Connects, attendance confirmation, follow-up with students, and surveys) for workshops such as Assessment Center Simulation, CV Review, Interview Preparation, Case Cracking, Design Your Life.
  • Content Creation for Education Projects: Support graphic design, visual content creation, and the development of communication materials.
  • Career Accelerator Logistics Support: Coordinate professor assignments, send calendar invites, assist in uploading the syllabus, and ensure that all content is properly uploaded.
  • Event Promotion: Create promotional posts for Advising/Education events.
  • Event Planning Support: Assist with planning Student Satisfaction events.
  • Career Website Maintenance: Update resources, manage content, and extract data on resource usage.
  • External Resource Management: Maintain relationships with external providers, analyze usage, act as a point of contact for issues/questions, and perform the initial screening of new providers/external resources.
  • Mentorship Platform Coordination: Register new mentors, remove inactive ones, monitor satisfaction rates to identify potential issues, and respond to questions or problems.
  • Career Touchpoints Management: Coordinate with the Student Services team, book rooms, ensure program heads and advisors are informed about session details, and check student registrations.
  • Coordination with Student Services: Manage the scheduling and coordination of sessions for all programs.
