We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Production Team. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to align Aristocrat's strategic objectives with Product Madness's project portfolio. End-to-end project management will include facilitating and executing project intake and discovery efforts, driving process improvements, facilitating positive change, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Owning the project's outcome, ensuring tight governance and being a driving force is essential for this role. Exceptional strategic thinking, technical expertise, project management skills, and customer focus will be instrumental in achieving successful project outcomes.

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Senior Project Manager in our central team will oversee multiple projects within Product Madness, working closely with Game Producers in Business Units and the wider Aristocrat PMO teams.

What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

Successful operational excellence for strategic project delivery demands critical daily, weekly, and monthly requirements and duties in the role:

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to facilitate and execute project intake and discovery efforts.
  2. Align Product Madness's business strategic objectives with the wider Aristocrat project portfolio.
  3. Maintain a transparent, up-to-date status of projects and relevant reporting.
  4. Drive process improvements and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  5. Plan and contribute to the development and implementation of PMO capabilities, toolsets, and processes aligned with the PMO framework and methodology.
  6. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the health and effectiveness of project management practices.
  7. Conduct thorough project discovery activities to gather requirements, analyze risks and dependencies, and define project scope and success criteria.
  8. Lead regular project reviews to evaluate project performance, risks, and issues.
  9. Monitor and evaluate change management efforts, measure effectiveness, and adjust as needed.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging tools, and methodologies related to project management.
  11. Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  12. Develop and maintain a comprehensive release management strategy aligned with project objectives.
  13. Oversee release planning activities across multiple projects.
  14. Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders regarding release status and timelines.
  15. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
What We're Looking For: Required Skills and Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  2. 6+ years of relevant experience as a Project Manager.
  3. Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  4. Subject matter expert in project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Strong experience managing complex operational projects.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  8. Experience in reporting status, risks, issues, and resource utilization.
  9. Strong leadership abilities.
  10. Familiarity with resource management and capacity planning tools.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  1. Knowledge of software development workflows and automated deployment processes.
  2. AgilePM, PgMP, PMP, or CSM certification is highly preferred.
  3. Experience in the gaming or entertainment technology sector.
  4. Passion for mobile games in the social casino category.
  5. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the gaming industry.
