Position title: Project Manager

Where will you work?

The Spanish Execution Center is responsible for managing projects for Medium and Low Voltage systems, Digital Buildings, Industry Automation, Power Management & Software solutions offering end-to-end solutions from design to operations. Our execution portfolio covers Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas, providing customized, cutting-edge solutions, leveraging the globality and expertise of Schneider Electric.

During the program, you will be able to understand the project life cycle, get technical knowledge and commercial awareness, and work comprehensively on the foundations of Project Management, delivering projects on time and within budget and achieving revenue performance targets.

What will you do?

Tendering - 1-2 months

· Follow up with the tendering team to understand the concept of how to build and offer (scope) and budget.

· Review of terms and conditions and how to incorporate them into projects, as well as client requirements.

· Offer preparation, approval, and release process.

Starting up a Project – 1-2 months

· Follow the Customer Project Process, to have contact with project stages, project life cycle, and its requirements & deliverables.

· Follow up the project handover with the tendering team, capture scope, budget, and schedule

· Review technical requirements and resource plan.

· Review contractual terms.

· Review finance milestones

Technical / Design 1-2 months

· Follow up on the design stage and how to deploy drawings, reports, electrical studies, etc… as technical deliveries.

· Project requirements and technical support for projects

· How to address and manage technical changes & requirements

Execution & Handover to Warranty 2-3 months

· Execution stages and how to track, control and monitor each stage.

· Follow up with the project team on the projects that are reaching the warranty stage

· Organize the warranty tracker.

· Follow up on the warranty letters as per the contractual terms.

· Follow up the warranty provisions with the finance team.

Warranty Ending & Closing - 3 months

· Monitoring and controlling the warranty tracker

· Receive, evaluate, and support handling warranty topics.

· Communicate with customer & project team on the projects that are reaching the end of warranty.

· Follow up the closing of the projects.

· Follow up on the release of warranty provisions.

What will you learn?

· Acquire extensive knowledge of Schneider Electric products, equipment, and solutions.

· Learn the Customer Project Process

· You will learn to coordinate projects from the different stages and how to apply agile methodologies

· Learn about contract terms and its applicability

· Perform reliable and efficient communication to the main stakeholders

· Communicate and coordinate communications among key stakeholders in the opportunity, including customers, Schneider entities and factories

What You Bring:

· Fresh graduate in an engineering discipline, Electrical or Energy Engineering, Business Administration and/or Business Management, Contract Management.

· Be able to start in May 2024.

· Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.

· Leadership skills: team management and team player.

· Customer and results orientation.

· Self-organized and with high analytical thinking.

· Continuous self-learning and continuous
