Position

As a Sr DevOps Engineer, you will

  • Oversee and manage the DevOps practices and processes within the organization
  • Develop and implement DevOps strategies for the organization
  • Mentor and lead a team of DevOps engineers to deliver solutions
  • Work with development and operations teams to automate software delivery processes
  • Identify and implement tools and processes to improve software development and delivery
  • Actively seek solutions to customer needs, communicate trends to leadership, and suggest innovative solutions on behalf of the customer experience
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, making recommendations for enhancements or modifications as needed
  • Help deploy our software stack to Fortune 500 clients’ servers
  • Participate in the design of Multiverse’s toolbox interface
  • Join a world-class team of Quantum experts with an extensive track record in both academia and industry
  • Collaborate with the founding team in a fast-paced startup environment

Your qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; alternatively, significant work experience as a Software Engineer7+ years of experience working as a software engineer or DevOps engineerExperience mentoring and leading teams of DevOps engineersSolid understanding and knowledge of DevOps practices. Hands-on experience required in development, deployment and production environmentsExtensive experience in large-scale, secure, and high availability solutions in the AWS Cloud, using automation to support deployment, scaling, monitoring, and management (Terraform / CloudFormation / SDK, etc.)Experience designing & building solutions using AWS IAM, Transit gateway, Control Tower, & other AWS services like AWS Guard Duty, AWS Shield, AWS Config following the AWS Well Architected FrameworkExperience building CI/CD pipelines (i.e GitLab CI, GH Actions, Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD)Familiarity and practical experience deploying, monitoring and maintaining Kubernetes clusters as well as experience deploying applications to KubernetesExperience deploying SaaS solutionsProficiency with one or more programming languages (Bash, Python, Go, etc)Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of infrastructure and security IssuesGood communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience with microservice deployment and monitoring
  • Experience working with different public cloud providers and hybrid environments
  • Database experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or other
  • Experience designing and deploying Infrastructure to support machine learning and data analytics solutions
  • Experience creating and administering release management processes and integration with source control management and best practices
  • Experience in leading teams
