Divisional Planning Manager

LOCATION:

Purpose

In close collaboration with the New York & Paris Global Supply Teams, the Divisional Planning Manager will take on the cross-functional responsibility of driving a new strategic segment with Marc Jacob Beauty from a Global lifecycle and Demand management perspective.

On top of that, you will carry out transversal responsibilities to optimize the end-to-end operational execution within Coty Supply Chain such as Sales & Operations Planning forums, Volume Plan/Annual Operating Plan, and Excess Management.

The Manager will lead a team of Senior Global Demand Planners based in Barcelona, which includes the Senior Global Demand Planner for Giftsets, Non-saleable, and Long Term. All those roles will also encompass transversal activities such as catalogue management, launch monitoring, forecast accuracy reporting, license management, etc.

  • Portfolio productivity.
  • Innovation Service (Fill Rate).
  • Innovation Forecast Accuracy (Sales Plan Performance 3 during Year 1).
  • Value at Risk on Saleable (including sets) and non-saleable.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Global lifecycle and Demand management for Marc Jacob Beauty: Prepare sizing based on all internal/external benchmarks & assumptions and monitor demand evolution weekly/monthly (including operational forecast).
    • Excess management: Lead the monthly cycle of data collection & root causes analysis + share monthly Value at Risk list to Markets following priority calls for Global Value Management and E-commerce channels.
    • Giftset demand management: Lead giftset offering Prometheus process & track giftset shipment vs. forecast progression.
    • Non-saleable demand management: Monitor demand evolution, ensure demand completeness for testers/samples, and perform a monthly valuation of forecast & compare vs. Previous cycle / Year Ago / financial budget / commercial ratio guidance.
    • Volume Annual Operating Plan / Plan Forecast: Build demand volume Annual Operating Plan/Plan Forecast for Manufacturing (global SKU level) and Logistics (Business Unit/Distribution Centre level by division) Teams.
    • Sales & Operations Planning Forums: Run regional/global Sales & Operations Planning consolidation, prepare and participate in all Supply & Procurement meetings.
