Position: Logistics Operator
Responsibilities:
Coordinate Logistics Operations: Oversee and manage the end-to-end logistics process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions for our clients.Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for our global clients, understanding their unique logistics needs and providing tailored solutions to meet and exceed expectations.Contract Negotiation: Utilize your expertise to negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers, securing the best terms and ensuring the highest quality of service.Maritime Services: Arrange and contract a variety of maritime services. Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and standards.Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and address potential issues in the logistics chain, implementing effective solutions to guarantee smooth operations.Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all documentation, including shipping manifests and customs paperwork, is accurate and complies with international regulations.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Transport Studies or a related field.Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.Proven experience in contracting and providing logistics solutions to a diverse range of clients in a global setting.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Familiarity with logistics software and systems.Desired Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of ship agency operations.Familiarity with various maritime services and their intricacies.Knowledge of port operations and their impact on logistics.Why Join Us:
