Global Services are diverse teams of specialists offering varied services from more than 8 geographical locations. Our Creative development group is seeking an Associate Studio Director who will help coordinating all studio operations and procedures for internal, and integrated co-development partners.

This position will require working closely with our Studio Director in Valencia, as well as other 2K development teams all over the world. We are looking for someone who is motivated and passionate about making high quality games.

What you will be doing:
  • Together with the Studio Director and Creative Leadership, coordinate all office and team operations, including employee support, facilities, and production needs, to ensure that the studio has the appropriate level of processes, equipment and resources to effectively operate while maintaining product development efficiency.
  • Keep fluent communication with the Production team to understand the situation of teams and projects and help resolving potential challenges.
  • Provide needed support during the annual studio budgeting process, and continue ongoing budget reviewing to guarantee that all studio resources are being used effectively.
  • Conceive and implement programs to elevate the well-being and effectiveness of the team.
  • Lead reviewing cycles and personal development goals.
  • Create and manage transparent reporting methods to leadership team and development partners.
  • When needed, act as studio spokesperson to building management, address concerns, manage relationship, and ensure problems are resolved.
  • Anticipate and identify risks and setbacks in organization and development and set plans for course correction.
  • Ability to partner across a global organization.
What would make you successful:
  • 8+ years in the games industry.
  • Formal experience and knowledge in production and project management is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, trust, and relationship building skills
  • Experience managing through influence with other departments, including Production, IT, Finance, Operations, and HR.
  • Demonstrated project management and problem solving skills.
  • Effective at leading and managing employees and relationships with partners .
  • Excellent coaching skills and Emotional IQ to read the team and create a positive environment in the workplace.
  • High initiative, ability to identify needs and drive solutions
  • Highly organized, tenacious, and operational
  • Love for games
