HR Generalist  

 

The following position is open in Segovia, Spain.

Role Responsibilities

•    Supports managers by providing guidance and coaching on managing short- and long-term sickness absence cases. 
•    Works in partnership with managers to ensure job descriptions are fit for purpose and an accurate reflection before any recruitment activity is commenced.
•    Advises and coaches managers on recruitment and selection strategies and assists with developing recruitment campaigns.
•    Works in partnership with the hiring manager and HR Ops team to coordinate the appointment and onboarding process for successful applicants.
•    Reports on HR metrics such as % of new hires, employee turnover, employee retention, ER case management, etc.
•    Drives the D&I action plan to build awareness, engagement, and education on Diversity & Inclusion at the Operator level and co-ordinates the training of D&I initiatives 
•    Supports the Senior HR Manager with trade union negotiations in relation to pay and reward. 
•    Provides advice and guidance on change processes and supports Senior HR Manager with execution.
•    Manages employee relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations. 
•    Reviews and updates HR policies, ensuring they are in line with current legislation.
•    Assists in organizing employer branding initiatives.
•    Provides advice and guidance on employee relations issues and works in partnership with Managers to carry out the investigation, disciplinary, and grievance meetings. 
•    Supports Senior HR Manager with all elements of organizational change and design.  
•    Support with the TNA, design, and delivery of learning and development programs.  
•    Works in partnership with Senior HR Manager and managers to ensure the compensation planning process is efficiently executed.
•    Support managers with engagement survey action planning.

Qualifications

Skills and Personal Attributes
•    An emotionally intelligent professional who can flex style as and when required.
•    Ability to advise, coach, and influence managers on all HR-related matters 
•    Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation.
•    Personable with strong communication and relationship-building capabilities.
•    Ability to design clear and fair company policies
•    Ability to solve problems in a calm and considerate way.
•    First-class organizational and administrative skills.
•    Ability to design and deliver training courses/development interventions.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
 

Education/Experience
•    University degree in Human Resources, Law, Labour Relations or another relevant subject
•    Seven years’ experience in similar duties and responsibilities. 

Languages
•    Fluent in Spanish (and valuable English)

Mobility
•    Primarily based in Segovia, with remote working and travel as needed either by the candidate or the Company.
