Housed in a historical building dating back to the 12th century, Nobis Hotel Palma is ideally positioned at Carrer de les Caputxines in the peaceful Old Town. Guests will be within walking distance of Palma’s finest restaurants, attractions, and must-sees. Our hotel offers 37 rooms and suites, an in-house restaurant and bar, a sun terrace with loungers, and a relaxing spa—all designed by the award-winning Swedish firm Wingårdhs.

WHAT WE OFFER


As a Front Desk Receptionist at Nobis Hotel Palma, you will be the face and the host of our hotel, providing a warm and efficient welcome to our guests. You will be part of an exceptional team dedicated to delivering a positive and memorable experience to every visitor.


Responsibilities

- Guest Reception: Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, assist with check-in and check-out processes, and ensure a dynamic seamless experience that makes every guest feel special.

- Reservations Management: Handle room reservations, modifications, and cancellations efficiently, ensuring accurate data entry into the hotel’s system.

- Guest Inquiries: Address guest questions and concerns promptly, providing information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.

- Communication: Liaise with other departments (e.g., Housekeeping, Maintenance) to fulfill guest requests and resolve any issues promptly.

- Concierge/Guest Services: Provide concierge services, including booking tours, making restaurant reservations, and arranging transportation.

- Problem Resolution: Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues professionally, escalating to the Front of House Manager when necessary.

- Administrative Tasks: Manage phone calls, emails, and other communications efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.

- Team Collaboration: Support the Front of House team in daily operations and assist colleagues as needed to ensure a smooth workflow.

- Security and Safety: Monitor guest access and security protocols, ensuring a safe environment for all guests and staff.

- Knowledge Upkeep: Stay updated on hotel policies, promotions, and local events to provide accurate and helpful information to guests.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


- Experience: We seek a truly experienced and passionate receptionist who can deliver the Nobis service with an extra spark. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

- Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish or Catalan. Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

- Personal Attributes: Friendly, welcoming demeanor with a high level of attention to detail. Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism.

- Team Player: You believe that you can't do your best without your team and thrive in a collaborative environment.


Period

We are looking for fulltime position during the season June-Oktober, with eventual possibilities to extend.
